If we can run the ball on Denver.
Denver has the number 1 ranked rush defense. The patriots will have to beat them through the air.

Hillman is the guy I worry about most, he is very fast. Also a pass rush, we all know if we don't get a rush on manning it can be a long ass day.
I think pats win this game easy. Best pass d In the league vs the duck tosser himself
While I am still very much worried about the Donkeys, I am very concerned about the zebras as well. The Donkeys are very good on both sides of the ball.More worried about the zebras than the Donkeys.
Man for the next 6 weeks our schedule is brutal with all teams having winning record. Lions are playing great.
Lets start this stretch with a W
It is a tough schedule, but I don't think it is as brutal as people make it:
I think the Pats could lose 2 or three games over the next five weeks or go 5-0. But I don't think the schedule is all as tough as people think it is. The Pats face no teams with great RBs.
- The Broncos are one of the best teams in the NFL if not the best, but people are making them into this otherworldly, greatest of all time types of teams. So far their offense hasn't been unstoppable on the road and Manning is something like 2-7 in Foxboro.
- I think Indy has had a favorable schedule in recent weeks. They showed yesterday that they can be lit up by a good QB.
- The Lions are winning, but not playing well. Watching them play, it is shocking that they only two losses. They barely beat a bad Falcons' team. In fact, their last two games went down to the wire. Plus word is they lost Nick Fairley for the season or at least a long time.
- Green Bay is a team that may be a product of favorable schedule. Their defense doesn't scare me and I think the Pats can win a shoot out.
Rob, I hear you. However, both of the defenses you named are more aggressive than that of the Pats. They are both also good at stopping the run. The Pats have not been able to do that on a consistent basis. It's all relative, I guess. It's going to be a tough game. Do I think the Pats can win? Yes. However, some people are falling victim to the moment. The Donkeys will not come in here and lay down like the Bears.I don't think the Pats have the best pass defense in the league, but I do think it is arguably the best one that the Broncos will have faced.
The Broncos' offense hasn't traveled well this year. Against the Seahawks' the Broncos scored 3 points the first three quarters. Against the Jets, they were forced to punt 8 times (four drives with negative yards, the other four were less than 30 yards).

Respect. There are people in this very thread predicting an easy win for the Patriots.I don't think anyone is saying that. This could be a shootout with a score of 34-3 or a smaller game of 24-20. Either way it will come down the the 4th and who can convert that 3rd and 5 with 3 min left type of game I think.
High of 41 and windy..so it will feel in the mid 30s. I hope manning heads to the Natick mall before to get some new mits and coats. Denvers weather in the winter last 2 years has been a joke..no snow and 40s and 50s..
I agree. A win against Denver would set up a good run. This team's confidence is trending up and a win against Denver would put it pretty high. Just think about how this season started and where the team has a chance to be with a win next week. Let that sink in . . .Man for the next 6 weeks our schedule is brutal with all teams having winning record. Lions are playing great.

Brady > Manning
Belichick > Fox
That's enough for me.
