Just for the record I am a Christian
I've seen it first hand - What you think is going to happen and what IS going to happen are 2 very different things.
The Tebow Circus is upon you and it doesn't die down - it builds and builds and builds
Just wait till the Tebow fans start showing up
Did you not read what was written? Who cares if he won a game against a very depleted Steelers' defense?
We are discussing his play. Not his team's play. And his play is very, very bad.
He scored 32 NFL TDs before showing up to the Jets , he cant be all that bad , specifically when he was #1 in TD efficiency in the red zone in 2011 , also was the main reason Denver went form 24th in rushing to 1st in a 5 game span.
I find that his detractors tend to exaggerate how bad he is. Hes not a good passing QB but he is a heck of a football player.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but in his full year with DEN his completion % was 46.5%. Lowest in the league by almost 5 points. He was NOT a good QB by any measure. His team was a success in spite of his performance not because of it.
This is the worst day in the history of the franchise
A lot of emotion involved in a nothing move of an end of the roster spot. I fail to see anything dire coming from this. He either fits in and contributes or gets released. No crazy management making predictions.
For Tebow it is all positive, it gives him a chance to try another position without the press causing a frenzy or watching every move. It keeps him out of the spotlight from the very same press, no interviews, no ESPN down the street looking for news.
It's a win/win if this works out. And if it doesn't who cares.
“@DonteStallworth: For anyone who thinks there will be a circus in NE with the Tebow signing, I have a bridge in #Brooklyn for sale.”
Apparently you weren't around when Bobby Grier was running the team into the ground with his idiotic personnel decisions. We have nothing invested in Tebow so if he doesn't produce he is gone. What is your problem with that.
The "in spite of his performance" statement you made is wildly inaccurate. Denver was 7-24 in the previous 31 games before Tebow became starter (worst in the NFL during that span)and they went 8-5 the rest of the way.
The 7-1 streak had as much to do with Tebow only turning the ball over a few times as it had to do with the defense rallying..."rallying" being the key word as Champ Bailey and Von MIller both said Tebow energized and rallied the team .
I'll take champ baley and Von Miller's words over yours.
