Comment: He is a run-stuffing defensive end in the 3-4 defense. .....at his best when the Bills let him play on the edges. He shows very good first-step quickness and plays with very good leverage in the run game.....still an explosive playmaker who can make plays on the other side of the line of scrimmage.

One must wonder if Belichick saw the Jets and Dolphins looking into Stroud so he picked him up quick.
Kind of unusual to see the Pats pick up a well known player so early while they normally sit and wait for some serious action to commence first
