Take your shot, what happens to the Patriots in the playoffs.
I really, really hope I'm wrong but the D worries me too much to be optimistic.
Im being optimistic! WE WILL WIN IT ALL!! The defense will find its stride in the playoffs. The offense will get even hotter and wont start off slow!
Get hot?? Haven't they won 8 in a row, with the #1 seed in the conference?
Win it all, is this really a question?
They get hotter. Patriots offense always starts out slow. I say they will start fast in the playoffs. The defense will get hot and make stops. I think the one thing about the defense that many people dont give credit to the defense is turnovers. Patriots lead the AFC in turnovers with a margin of +14 i think.
This year is a total crapshoot. But might as well be optimistic.
If I'm BB, I break out the game tapes of the Jets/Ravens January night mares and re-show them to piss this team off like there's no tomorrow.
No more will we have an offensive line that gets over-whelmed and has TB with a deer in the headlights look because of it. NO MORE OF THAT BS in January at home! We've been through that twice, three times, it's shame on us !
It's all in front of us, home field, best offense in the AFC and a defense that finally got back two important pieces in Chung and Spikes and may have found a gem in Moore. This defense will play better, I know they will now that Spikes and Chung are back.
Now if they can wear the throw backs for both home games, we're golden
I think the Pats will win the AFC and lose to either the Packers or Saints.
I think they take it all for Myra! :halo:
Win it all!
I can see us getting through the AFC but I see us losing to GB in the super bowl. Tough matchup for our secondary. I know, their defense sucks too but I'm not sure I have full faith in our offense come playoff time given recent history.
I think in the AFC playoffs our D will step it up enough to ensure we don't need lights out performances from Brady. GB I just can't see us holding them down.
Saints vs Patriots.. Pats shut down Graham..Gronk catches the go ahead score and wins MVP.
Brees throws for a Super Bowl record 547 yards. Brady throws for a mere 523, leading people to believe he had a mediocre game, is past his prime, and that Brees is better.
If they play the Steelers in the first round, one and done.
If they play Cinci or Denver in the first round, they lose in the AFC title game to the Ravens.
Drew Brees will not throw more than 350 yards. Count on it.
There's reason to be optimistic. There's a lot of parity in the AFC this year. Usually, when that happens, coaching typically separates the top dog with the rest of the pack. However, I think we'll lose in the AFCCG. I think the Bengals will beat the hapless Texans and then come to Foxborough. That should be an interesting game as the Bengals have a passing attack that can hurt us. But we should win that game. The Championship round will most likely be either the Ravens or the Steelers. I like our chances with the Steelers in a re-match better than I like our chances with the Ravens. But both of those defenses can either shut or slow us down. Then it would become about whether or not our defense can limit their T.O.P. and yardage enough to get our offense and Brady back out onto the field. I'm not sure if we can do that against that kind of competition.
Frankly, I think voting on this kind of stuff is ridiculous. Our votes will affect nothing. Having said that, why not pick the option I really want: Pats get hot and win it all.
Before the season I picked the Pats to get the top seed in the AFC by going 13-3. They did that.
I also picked them to beat the Packers in the Super Bowl. Not going to change that now.
This is what I think too. Happy if they make the SB...sad if they lose it.
