OT: What do you do with Bridgewater & Bradford if you are the Vikings?

Here's a sort random topic as we approach the last week of the season, what do the Vikes do at QB next season assuming Bridgewater is good to go? I gotta eat some crow for saying the Bradford trade was bad because Bradford was one of the team's few bright spots. Their line was total dogshit. So you have two pretty capable QBs, which one do you go with? Bradford is probably better now but is a lot more injury prone.

Bridgewater is on his rookie deal, you keep both next season and see who emerges as the better QB.

Bradford is not the longterm solution. Sure, this season is not all his fault and the o-line has been absolute trash so them getting rid of Bradford is not the best idea ever.

Keep both and hope Bridgewater gets a lot better! The guy has promise.

I think the Vikings really beat the odds this year with respect to Bradford's usual injury track record. I don't think they should expect a repeat.

I'm not sure if you have to eat crow or not but if you do it should only be a hatchling. imo

I haven't watched to many Viking games but when I do all I see is this:

Interesting question here. I would keep him and see if he can pick up where he left off. Some guys come back and continue ascending, like Paul George (though it's b-ball). And some, like Livingston (again b-ball) come back from gruesome injuries and never seem to reach the potential once thought. I'm not a Bradford fan at all, so maybe my opinion is just a bit biased. I'd keep him.

I think it's the wrong question. The real question is what do you do with Sam Bradford?

There's really no reason to do anything with Bridgewater other than let him continue to rehab. He's under contract for the next two seasons, makes $1.9M next season, $2.2M the season after so there's no cost issue that requires a decision to be made in the next few years.

Meanwhile, Bradford has a $4M roster bonus and $17M cap hit for 2017 before becoming a free agent, so they really need to decide whether Bridgewater will be back for next season or not. $17M is not bad for a starter, but if Bridgewater is back and starting, that's a ton to pay a backup.

If they want to keep Bradford, they will have to do something because he's a free agent after next season. Bradford will also be turning 30 next season with an extensive injury track record. So they'll have to make some type of decision on Bradford long before they need to do anything with Bridgewater.

Bradford has one year left and Teddy has 1+1. Thinking you have to kinda choose a direction you want to go in. Teams like Denver may pony (pun heh) up quite a bit for one of them.

I hope Teddy make a full recovery and gets healthy enough to play football again but he was never very good to make a huge impact in the franchise futures plans.

Keep both. Replace AP, focus the rest on the O-line. Do nothing to that defense except cut bait with Newman.

That was a 5-0 team before the line went into complete shambles. They had a really successful formula.

They would have been even better this year with Teddy i believe. He had a really nice chemistry with Diggs on those deep balls, which Bradford couldn't do.

True that was a lot. He did play well though but not to that worth. I think Kaepernick may be the best value of the offseason for QBs. He's low key looked pretty good.

But I am glad they did....as it shows what a desperate team will pay for a QB, even an oft injured middle of the roader, albeit one drafted #1....

Hes actually had a good year for Sam Bradford.

If Jimmy put that up for a 1st season as a starter I'd be ok with it but I think Jimmy would make more plays.

Bradford's problem is that this is his 6th year and he still can't process information. 2 reads and hes done. Hes never been a playmaker. Ever
