That's only a "fact" for people who have never heard of David Ster, Gary Bettman or Bud Selig.None of the leagues are a real threat to fold, too popular. The NFL is the most fun league to watch but has the worst commish running it. Those are the facts.
Um, the guy he replaced was a horrible commissioner. There's a reason nobody seems interested in putting him in the Hall of Fame.You can't seriously be happy with the job Goodell is doing, especially considering the guy he replaced.
I disagree with Goodell's handling of spygate and I don't like the move to put more regular season games in London. But overall he has done a fine job as commish, bringing the league to previously-unseen heights of popularity and managing to get a new, long term CBA without missing a single meaningful game. If you think new CBA's are easy to negotiate, just ask David Stern and Gary Bettman how they've done with such things.
