MNF on the BBC is only behind the red button though, so if you have Sky+ no recording the games, nor will it be in HD.

Its not good that its on Red Button only, but I'm hoping of recording games through Freeview Channel 301. Can't fathom why there was such a lack of interest that it ends up as a red button option on the beeb. They must have paid around 3 bags of crisps and a pint of Tetleys for the rights

Sunday night sky games have completely messed up the game pass for this year.

first time I can remember the Sky games getting blacked out.

    Dag nam it.

It was a 6 day blackout before which sent me looking elsewhere, at least now its only a day blackout before you can watch the Sky games

This is the first year the blackout has also applied to Ireland.

Oh and the worst thing about the coverage this year is no Sunday NFL Countdown or MNF Countdown. I can get them online but on horrible laggy streams rather than in HD on my big TV.

Oh and MNF won't be in HD or recordable either but Gamepass will sort that out for me.

    Ah, explains it

I just plug the laptop into the TV then use the PC for patsfans etc, get a good picture and it's smooth 99% of the time so it must be your internet connection that makes them laggy?

I have 20mb with Virgin. Gamepass streams flawlessly in 720p no problem. Free illegal streams are nothing compared to HD satellite TV or Gamepass.

The 6 day blackout in Gamepass last year was horrendous and it was introduced in a sneaky, off-hand way (albeit entirely legally, in the small print). I'm relieved they've gone back to one day blackouts and have renewed as a result. I can avoid Football forums and Facebook for a day...

Oh there's no doubt at all Gamepass & TV are better, but until I can afford Gamepass they will have to do :p

Then when I get Gamepass, plug that into the TV and watch it :D

Still, I can live with one day blackouts. Remember when we used to have Channel 4 highlights and AFN Radio?

One day blackout really isn't too much of a problem anyway, if you have Sky.

It's a shame for the people who don't though.

We do have it great with Gamepass. £130 to watch all regular season games live (with some blackouts) NFL redzone, archived games going back to 2009, NFL Network, classic superbowls etc for an entire year? Bargain.

Question about Gamepass since I last used it in 09: Is it still ridiculously behind play? Back then it used to be like 5 minutes behind the actual broadcast!

It's about 1-2 minutes behind live now. Not sure why that would be a major issue?
