I found it very petty and arrogant, loss some respect for the guy.

Your feelings?

He is who he is. Michael has always been that way. It's part of what made him the greatest player of all time. He still can't let go of the things that he built up in his mind, which helped to fuel his drive.

Could he have been classier and let go of past gripes? Sure... but that would be completely out of character for him.

its MJ.... him and Bird can do no wrong

I missed it, what did he say?

Among other things, that he never saw the front office and coaching staff play with the flu. It's true, but it's completely classless.

^ That's the comment that disturbed me the most.

Totally lost respect for the guy. Doesn't matter if that's what made him great back then, gain some god damn dignity and humility in your state of retirement.

Was I seeing/hearing things, or did he also invite the guy that made the basketball team in front of him to the induction ceremony and then make fun of him right to his face? Or was that guy in the crowd at that point in the speech someone else?

I've always loved him as a bball player. He made his team better, but he's never been very classy. This just proves it.
