They are quitting.. they're getting sloppy with coverage handoffs, especially the LB's picking up the inside routes (slants). They had that closed down in the early part of the game. Now, Clark is all of a sudden breaking free.

It's just mental toughness.. being able to sustain for a full 60 minutes no matter what happens. It's a learned trait. Our D is also severely lacking in this department because they're very young.

I'm in full agreeance with the mental toughness angle...the sloppy play. It's very tough to do against this team for 4 quarters. as someone just said the pressure they put on you is ridiculous.

Jets 29 runs 23 passes
Colts 15 runs 36 passes

The teams that came out passing is winning.
For the final 8 minutes the Colts will run more and the Jets will pass more, this is why pass/run ratio not always accurate.

If the colts didnt pull their starters in week 16 and beat the jets, the jets are 8-8 at best, miss the playoffs and go 5-8 to end the season, no one would be talking about the jets. But their is no momentum in football from season to season. Plus more teams will pluck players and coaches from them with success. Its not like they keep this roster for 5 years.
