OT: Javon Walker found unconscious

The excited Vegas crowd got very excited that Javon Walker was there. After all, that's why they went to vegas, in hopes of seeing 1-year wonder Javon Walker.

In fact, people were so excited that THE Javon Walker was there, someone punched his eye bone in half and stole his wallet.

Vegas loves Javon Walker. Those people went nuts when he showed up.

3 bucks says he was hammered, spraying the crowd with "Dom", some toughguys who aren't rich didn't care for it, and put him in his place.

It means that Javon Walker hosed down a crown with champagne, but nobody deserves to get beaten or robbed.

No problem, glad i could help. If you have any other questions, ill be around for the next hour or 3.

No it means that you've already decided the two incidents are without a doubt connected and that he deserved what happened to him.

So by "glad I could help" you meant "glad I could bring nothing to the table but total jackass homerism" then thanks, but we've got plenty of that here already.

lol nice post.

and there's plenty more where that came from.:singing:

So you probably think this happened:
1.) The crowd heard Javon Walker was going to be in Vegas so they all bought plane tickets to come check him out. This crowds' excitement level was normal, but once they saw Javon Walker, they became "excited". Even though they knew he was going to be there and flew out there for the purpose of seeing him.

2.) The crowd specifically asked Javon to Spray them with Champagne and act like a moron.

3.) The crowd gets sprayed with champagne and loves it.

4.) Javon does something highly respectable, which would make it seem that there's no way he could be punched in the face in the near future...

5.) Someone punches Javon's eye bone in half and steals his wallet.

it must have been completely unrelated.

No, I have no idea what happened, and neither do you.

haha i know, im just messing around buddy.

I do think you are defending him a bit much though. He at least should have learned from the D. Williams incident that you shouldn't spray champagne on people.

Even if it turns out that it was unrelated, it still looks bad and people don't like getting sprayed with that crap.

From my fantasy site (I can't post a link because it's a pay service)

Javon Walker attacked: Fox5 News in Las Vegas is reporting that Raiders WR Javon Walker was mugged early Monday morning in what looks like a robbery attempt. Walker was found unconscious and "was taken to Sunrise Medical Center’s Trauma unit, where he was listed in fair condition late Monday afternoon, hospital officials said. Police said Walker had significant injuries." Walker was spotted at a couple of different clubs earlier Sunday night. The first thing that popped in our head was the New Year's 2007 drive-by shooting that killed Broncos CB Darrent Williams. Walker was sitting next to Williams in the limo that was riddled with gunfire. Then, in a tearful interview on HBO's Real Sports six months later, Walker challenged the gunmen. "Sneak up on somebody and shoot them...? You know, if you're going to face it like a man and want to do something that a grown man would do, why not do it to their face," Walker growled.

I know it's speculation, but interesting nonetheless.

Update: Oakland Raider Javon Walker could be released from Sunrise Hospital Tuesday.
From KVBC..seems odd that he MAY be released...so apparently he's out of his coma and better.

And you know this information how? How do you know that the robbery had anything to do with the champagne? How do you know that the crowd at the club wasn't going nuts because Javon Walker was there? Oh that's right, you have no idea, but you are going to assume anyway. If you really feel bad for the guy and think he didn't deserve it, why are you harping on the champagne incident at all? What exactly does, "he HOSED DOWN A CROWD WITH CHAMPAGNE" followed by "nobody deserves to get beaten or robbed" mean? Sounds like you are talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Wasn't Mendenhall walking around Central Chicago at about 2am and got his ass whooped - He had some cash on him too - If you have cash and are recognized and in the wrong place you are going to get your butt whooped.

This is ******ed conversation about someone pissed over spilled Champagne.

The guy was in a rowdy atmosphere at the Hard Rock (been there, done that) and had flashy Jewelry and wallet busting though his pants stuffed with money,Now to me the chance of being beaten and robbed goes way up if you are appearing like that, especially with no bodyguard around which I am surprised was not with him at that time.

Raiders receiver Javon Walker has given an exclusive interview to TheDirty.com, a web site that gathered notoriety over the past few months for, among other things, the publication of photographs of NFL players in compromising positions.

Here’s Walker’s claim: “I was just back at my room and at about 5:30 in the morning, I got a knock at the door, I opened it and 3 guys with guns were there, they cracked me in the head a few times knocking me unconcious [sic]. They then robbed me of everything I had– my watch– money– everything! Somehow they got me to the car and dropped me off in the street. That’s what happened.”

Our reaction? Perhaps they need to check out Walker’s brain function a little more closely. Because whatever it was that cracked his orbital bone also might have functioned as the equivalent of a lobotomy.

Think about it. Three gun-wielding thugs walk through the lobby and, somehow knowing the number of Walker’s room, show up there, knock on the door, and pistol whip him when he opens it. Then, after ransacking the room, they drag his unconscious body out of the hotel without being detected and leave it in the street.

Uh... yeah. That sounds plausible.

and if he continues that fairy tale in a signed police report, he could be facing charges of 'filing a false police report" if it's fond to be untrue....Where's the ubiquitous video?? It is Vegas for Pete sakes.....

For Walker's sake, this better be true, because it can be easily debunked. Every single inch, except the hotel rooms, and public bathrooms, of any Casino, especially the Bellagio, is covered by surveillance cameras. All they have to do is go back to the hall outside of Walker
's room, and they can tell you exactly what time, he returned to his room, and if anyone else entered the room. I can only think that his story has to be true, otherwise, he is the BIGGEST MORON IN THE WORLD!!! Hasn't he ever seen "Las Vegas" or "Ocean's Eleven"?

This is not going to break well for Walker, because it can be proven so quickly and positively if he is lying.

And why is that? Has he broken any laws? Is he even required to file a police report?

He was found unconscious, not arrested. Last I checked it's not illegal to be found unconscious. If he lies to the media and then doesn't talk to the cops is that against the law? I don't think so.
