I'd try to sign him long-term, but if he ends up demanding what's probably going to be the market rate for him, then let him play out his deal, leave in FA, and take the compensatory pick. He's debatably worth the money, but given that the Pats will be paying Collins, Hightower, and potentially Butler in the same offseason, I can't see us being able to afford him.
Fix this goddamn oline, and he'll be just fine.based on life your body just don't bonce back as easy from throwing the ball 35 plus times a game and getting hit 10 at 40 years old. look i hope he plays until his 50 but its not going to happen
I would keep Amendola if he restructured again.
Vollmer is good, he played out of position most of the season. Bring him back.
Cannon and LaFell I agree, and Mayo might want to consider calling it a career - he probably has a career in broadcast or coaching waiting for him.
Looks like if they cut him after 6/1 its a $3.4m charge for 2016If Mayo leaves on his own do we still have dead money on him?
So far he doesn't seem very durable, so i don't count on him. but maybe that will change, Willy Mac was hurt a lot in the beginning of his career.I want to envision Easley more like Aaron Donald...
I like Mayo, and would want to keep him But hes ended up on IR for the last three years. So i can seem them letting him walk.Looks like if they cut him after 6/1 its a $3.4m charge for 2016
Hes gone unless the team thinks he can be 80% of what he was in 2012 which is very questionable.
