gotta admit, when Collins leveled that punt returner after he made the fair catch signal i cheered a little.

sometimes you need to just lay some wood on someone.

OH.. I totally forgot about the HORRIBLE spot on the Develin run during the 1st series of the game. They marked him back a good yard from where he got the ball..

I kind of loved that, though. They just SURGED for the 1st down. Huge gesture to the other team -- and to the refs.

That's on the Patriots staff in the booth. The whole world could see that one. It was on a 3rd down play that caused a 4th down gamble. They should have thrown the flag. I know Ernie Adams is considered God and all, but that kind of thing happens too often with the Pats. They are very slow in some obvious challenge situations.

Jerome Boger is looking through the rule book for something to take this win away.

But anyways you guys catch Dilfer pretending he wasn't dissing us last week? What a spineless coward.

Jermaine Gresham was the first Tight End picked in a draft year that had Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham, and Aaron Hernandez.

Not only was he the #1 TE that draft, but he was picked wayyyy ahead of all those other guys.

Should go to show all the Draft Complainers here that it is an inexact science.

Seriously, of the 45 guys who dressed, the Pats can't find anyone more explosive than Patrick Chung to return KO?

It's a gesture to the fact that returning kicks from your endzone has become a loser's play. Let a tough guy who won't be tempted to be a Brandon Tate do it.

When I first saw the play, I thought that Tate was waving something out of his eyes, not calling for a fair catch...

Definitely. Another referee might have seen that differently ...

......and of course The Globe Guy was bored:

I'm impressed if any non-Pats or Bengals fans stuck with this game last night. The second quarter was brutally slow

50,000 yards? Yeah, we'd say that deserves a game ball

Did you hear him say, "you can not lose games in the NFL and still win"? So insightful.

Too busy thinking about the Dolphins or the Gators.

I hope you're exaggerating. Do you really want Logan Ryan cut?

YES!!! have you seen him play? He was in for one play, the result: TD AJ Green! He is awful! I'd rather keep Butler.

Wow. One bad play, no doubt.

Have you been watching more this year and last?

I have watched him play quite a bit. He got beat by one of the best receivers in the NFL. Ryan is not a #1 CB. Many great CBs have given up TDs to AJ Green. Butler would most assuredly do the same thing if he were to cover him. Even Revis gave up 64 receiving yards to him.

Umm.. Yeah.. Except it wasn't really a TD as Green never got both feet in bounds while he had control of the ball. If you look at the replay, Green's left foot never touches in bounds. And neither does Green's right knee. It should have been called back..
