Yeah, Sanchez didn't have anything to do with forcing it into double coverage.

"But according to our playbook, the LB was supposed to follow the TE! Nobody said he might be in zone coverage, waiting for the throw to LT! Why was I not told?!"

Seriously though, if you pretend that the left half of the field just doesnt exist, and roll Sanchez out to the right, he's not bad. It's like the Jake Plummer philosophy all over again.

They played the game of their lives (not a knock on them, they earned that win), then their biggest offensive threat shot himself in the leg and went to jail. The best thing they did was get hot at the right time; even in 2007, on the whole they weren't an elite team. Plus they're sitting a bunch of starters tonight.

Sancheese gagged on that "drive" and threw a horrible incomplete on 3rd down.[..but the ref called hands to face on a D lineman...never saw it...they never showed this mythical penalty...but that didn't stop this MNF crew from gagging on their mics about the Cheese. Nice ref aided 20 play garbage ref aided "drive"...the Jets suck and will get murdered playing like this

Sanchez didn't really impress me on that drive. All checkdowns and easy dump-offs into the flats to the TE's and LT. The one time he tried to throw it down field almost ended up in a pick six.

Giants defense didn't look very good there either.

The Giants did everything on that play to allow the TD except carry Brad Smith into the endzone.

It seemed like most of their plays Mayo and Spikes would wrap up easily.

Agreed it wasn't much of a drive, but the penalty was legit - an OL's helmet got ripped off.
