    Clearly there was something that caused the Patriots to cut bait.

    We may never know what it is, though.

    OK, it does start to look like a trend. Since Deion Branch (and not counting this year, which is TBD), the Patriots have a remarkably poor record drafting offensive skill players. As in zero real impact players, unless you count Cassel.

    The FO is blowing too many precious draft picks, and also trading others on marginal vets, to sustain the excellence which we deserve.
