...exactly what need did we have for him?

Sproles has never performed half this good before and we had Danny Woodhead coming off a great breakout season.

The Saints are going to need to play better defense next week....the 49ers are definitely not going to allow the numerous big plays that Detroit has allowed.

This next game might be a tough outing for the Saints outstanding offense.

I can see it happen in the next few games

It will be interesting to see how the San Fran defense matches up with the New Orleans offense... specifically how the New Orleans passing game copes with a less than effective running game. One thing for sure, the New Orleans run defense will be tested often...

You must have missed the Steelers and Giants games against the Pats in week 7 and 8

An elite offense is only as good as it's offensive line...game to game

Our OL was beaten in the trenches in those games.

That's how you stop a powerful offense really quickly, get to the QB and it don't matter how crappy your secondary is.

Umm, we had 438 yard vs the Giants. We were only stopped by turnovers.
We didnt play well vs Pitt, every offense has a bad day now and then, but really the Pitt offense is what kept our offense down by not letting it on the field.

Number 32 for Detroit has played a game he would be wise to forget...

I'll root for Bama, thats for sure.

I bet Brees is going to throw.

The game was much closer than the score indicates for much of it. The refs basically took away a defensive TD and a couple key stops

Depending on how you look at it they were given a turnover that they shouldn't have been too. Hard to call it a TD when the whistle blew.
The Saints scored at will in the second half. It doesnt really matter if it was close for some of the game, the game is 60 minutes.

Not going to Lie, after watching the lions D I feel alot better about the Pats D.

Yes,yes I know our D is not that great. But the Pats D is not blowing coverages like this Lions D. The Pats D would at the very least get a pick or two. And the Pats D would be flying to the ball a hell of alot better then the Lions, or the Saints for that matter.

So it looks like we are going to face the Steelers next weekend, lets get it on...

GO PATS!!!

And if my penis was 9 inches I could be a porn star.

Brees and the Saints not going for a late touchdown. Who saw that coming?

I can not believe how bad this Detroit defense played. Granted, NO has an awesome offense, but it's not that awesome.

if the pats do reach the SB and play the saints..no one will give us the chance and thats why i expect is to do the unimaginable...Its getting to the SB which iam more worried abt ...
Saints might actually struggle in the slow fields in SF or GB.

If it was a clean game then I'd have no problem if the Saints blew out the Lions. However their were several questionable calls which leave me uneasy. Officiating on a whole has been horrid for a while and the NFL has done nothing to fix it.

I'd agree with you if the refs didn't screw them out of a defensive touchdown that would have made it 21-7. Whoever blew the whistle on that fumble is a complete idiot.

That said, if the DET CBs channeled Asante Samuel in the regular season instead of channeling Asante in the Super Bowl. . . . :bricks:

I don't get why no one would give us a chance. Our offense is as good, and there defense is no better than ours.
Not a lock doesnt mean no one gives us a chance.

If the Saints get by SF. They are not getting by GB in GB in the winter...

Has Drew Breezy ever won a game in the cold, or game that it was snowing in????

I hope people now appreciate Arrington's ints, no matter how easy they may look , many dbs cant make a play on them . Case in point Detroit
