Easily as good as a gimpy talib lolI would agree.. He is NOT a Revis/Talib.. but a solid and very coachable player.

I'm not that familiar with Jason McCourty, would he step in and be our number 1 cb or is he more of a number 2 or number 3?

ZOmg if we don't get Calvin I'm so done with krafty Bob. Like really just trade seven first and make it happen!!!1!1
I'd love to be wrong, because he is about the best option out there, and it is a great story to have them both on the team. But I don't see how the "numbers" can be worked out. Unless they are reworking someone's contract to add a couple of million in cap space.
Not allowing myself to get too excited yet. Need to hear from a more legit source. But if so it is a great move that can really help shore up the position. Lots of upside.
He is due 7 mil next year and then he is a FAHow many years are left on Jason's contract?
First it was one person. ME Second, it was more jokeingly put together with a nahhh at the end. If this team was desperate to get a CB I Was thinking of a crazy option.
We know what we have with CJ Thanks.

Good because I was super serial .Congrats, you just won the Straw Man of the week award.
Is BB reading this thread or what? I think someone in here was the first to ever bring the idea up. I thought it was far fetched, but it is gaining traction. He is not great but solid and he does not give up easy catches.
Is there any rule against that?If we get Jason, he will be the perfect person to play Ty Law on Manning. Switch Jerseys at Half time lol.
It would be a WONDERFUL LIFE if Jimmy Stewart is right about this.Take it for what it worth, 98.5 Jimmy Stewart said he has spoken to two sources in the Pats and the trade for McCourty is basically done for a 4th and 6th. They are just working his salary under the cap.
I would be happier if there was someone with some more size available. The ideal solution would have been to have been to have won the Devin Breaux auction. But of the people available he'd be worth a 4th and 6th skill wise, and immediately improve the depth at CB.I would agree.. He is NOT a Revis/Talib.. but a solid and very coachable player.
Really"? Wow Not surprising..... Granted if they felt he was not able to be fit in with the other needs/extensions/contracts I can see them passing as he will command big bucks on the open market. But logically they should lock him up sooner if they can.I wasn't even singling out you. I've heard it mentionee several times in other threads . but I agree with you on the whole
