Good point, actually. Chicago is probably the first real shot at a dynasty in a hot minute.

Their product isn't parity so much as it is football games. I can't remember a year with so many bad games.
It isn't that there are "more bad games," it is that so many more games are on TV. The more games that get squeezed on the TV set, the more likely you get stuck with a bad game every once in a while.

And if you can't remember a year with so many bad games on TV, then you must not have watched much football the past few years. This year, Thursday night and Monday night have been respectable whereas in the past few years, they've been mostly abysmal.

Is it possible to tweak the scheduling formula so that instead of playing an entire division from the NFC that the 1's have to play all the 1's, so this year we would have played Dallas, Green Bay, Carolina, and Seattle instead of the entire NFC East?
While that would create more marquee matchups, I would consider that pretty darn unfair to have one team in the division have such an obscenely tougher SOS than another team in that same division.
