I got a "bite" from the Seinfeld show!
But I don't think I'm going to follow up. As Ian said, Im not looking for an opportunity to look stupid on TV with my husband. Did anyone else hear from them? Perhaps they wrote back to me because (a) I'm a woman and (b) my husband is a Jets fan? Below is what I wrote and what they said. Ian, do you want me to refer them to you as the administrator of the site??

"Rumor has it that you're looking for a New England Patriots fan whose spouse doesn't like the obsession. I am a woman who is completely dedicated to the Patriots and whose husband Bob is a dedicated fan of our arch rivals the NY Jets. I grew up in Massachusetts, the older of two daughters in a family, and I learned about the Patriots at my father's knee. I love my husband - who is from Queens and has followed the Jets since the franchise began. We have a lot in common, but we say that we have a 'mixed marriage' in terms of football rooting. Judy"
"Hey Judy--
We are casting the new comedy talkshow, "The Marriage Ref" on NBC in which Jerry Seinfeld and his A-List Celebrity friends figure out who is right and who is wrong in the fights you have with your spouse!
I'm looking to do an episode about sports fans whose wives cant stand how obsessed their husbands are (or vice verse) about their Team. Sports fans who take it to another level, and who get into it with their spouses Over and Over again. Obviously Pats fans are some big fans, so I thought you guys would be a good place to start.
So let me know how rigorous you and your wife (sic) argue about your obsession! Are you interested in participating in the show? This could be your chance to definitively WIN the argument, to show your wife and all of America that YOU'RE RIGHT! It IS that important!
If you're interested, we want to hear the both of you hash it out on the phone, if we moved forward with you guys, you and your wife would be visited by a camera crew and then eventually appear on the show!
SO that's the spiel! What do you think?"
