Jim Schwartz will see shades of “The Freak,” Jevon Kearse.

The Rams are trying to create a new identity. In steps Stafford.
3. *Philadelphia (from KC) – RT/OG Andre Smith, Alabama
Philly wanted Jeff Otah in 2008, and now find a better version.
4. Seattle – DE Everett Brown, Florida St
Jim Mora wants to add a premier pass rusher. That’s Brown.
5. Cleveland – ILB Rey Maualuga, USC
Maualuga paired with star D’Qwell Jackson is instant intensity.

After sending out an S.O.S for a WR in 2008, he’s irresistible.

The fact that Raji was unblockable at the Senior Bowl is enough.

Maclin creates heavy pre-draft “top ten” buzz but this is realistic.

Greene has the consistency and toughness that they badly need.
29. NY Giants – RB Chris “Beanie” Wells, OSU
Unless Wells proves healthy and fast, he’ll tumble, and tumble far.
30. Tennessee – DT Peria Jerry, Mississippi
Whether or not they can keep Haynesworth, Jerry would be a lift.
31. Arizona – RB Knowshon Moreno, UGA
Nice effort down the stretch, but it’s all over now for “Edge.”
32. Pittsburgh - CB Alphonso Smith, Wake Forest
Size is a minor concern but he can create turnovers like few others.
Round Two
33. Detroit – DE Michael Johnson, Georgia Tech
Expect the Lions to invest heavily in the DL position. It’s that bad!
34. Kansas City – DE Paul Kruger, Utah
He’s not Jared Allen but he’ll thrive alongside DT Glenn Dorsey.
35. St. Louis – SS Eugene Chung, Oregon
Chung would seem like an excellent replacement for Corey Chavous.
36. Cleveland – RB LeSean McCoy, Pittsburgh
After passing on Wells in round 1, McCoy is waiting for them here.
37. Seattle – CB D.J. Moore, Vanderbilt
His heart and mouth have been questioned, like DeAngelo Hall.
38. Cincinnati – C Max Unger, Oregon
They are so desperate here that Alex Mack at #6 can’t be ruled out.
39. Jacksonville – OG Duke Robinson, Oklahoma
The Jags continue with their top priority: entirely rebuild the OL.
40. Oakland – OT Eben Britton, Arizona
After passing on a big body early, they find a capable 2nd tier OT.
41. Green Bay – LB Zach Follett, Cal
The Packers land a hell of a catch in the hard charging Follett.
42. Buffalo – TE Brandon Pettigrew, Oklahoma State
The Bills are looking for a “special” player at TE, and find one.

He has generated 1st round “buzz” but is smallish and an injury risk.

This kid is sick! But at only 6’-2” he’ll need to move to OLB.

Jackson won’t put up big numbers but is as solid as any prospect.

The Texans hope to unleash their LB’s. Sintim will bring the heat.

The best player you never heard of, ‘til now. BOOM! He’s blowin’ up!

The Broncos land an inside-outside guy with a helluva spin move.

Doubters of Nicks need only see him play WVU: 1st round material.

The Bucs will hope that they are getting an Albert Haynesworth.
51. Dallas – FS Rashad Johnson, Alabama
Johnson is exactly what the Cowboys DB’s need most: A vocal leader.

The Eagles are in search of an intimidator to replace Brian Dawkins.
53. NY Jets - WR Kenny Britt, Rutgers
Britt would really make an intriguing red zone target for the Jets.
54. Minnesota - CB Coye Francies, San Jose St.
Oregon State transfer creating postseason buzz at the Senior Bowl.
55. Atlanta - TE Shawn Nelson, Sothern Miss
Nelson has been called a WR in a TE’s body. A very hot prospect!
56. Miami - CB Victor “Macho” Harris, VT
Harris is a student of the game with great hands, versatility and instincts.
57. Baltimore - WR Derrick Williams, PSU
The Ravens will continue to put playmakers around QB Joe Flacco.
58. New England – SS Kevin Ellison, Jr., USC
Snubbed by the Senior Bowl, but Belichick will take notice.
59. Carolina – DE Connor Barwin, Cincinnati
Even if they don’t lose Peppers, Barwin would be a great fit here.
60. NY Giants - WR Darius Passmore, Marshall
If there is a prospect similar to Burress, it’d have to be Passmore.
61. Indianapolis – DT Alex Magee, Purdue
Magee is a rising prospect after a solid Senior Bowl performance.
62. Tennessee – WR Ramses Barden, Cal Poly
The Titans are never one to fear a roll of the dice, and do on Barden.
63. Arizona – DE/LB David Veikune, Hawaii
Veikune is a relentless beast who compares favorably to Travis Laboy.
64. Pittsburgh – ILB Scott McKillop, Pittsburgh
Slow afoot but totally flattens ball carriers with reckless abandon.
