Most irreplaceable Patriots player other than Brady....

I wonder what a similar ppg comparison of games with Talib and games without Talib in the last two years would show

I knew this would get bumped eventually. We all said losing Vince would be a disaster or losing Talib would be a disaster, but I don't think any of us thought we would lose Vince (and his backup), Gronk, Mayo, Vollmer, Talib, Amendola for a significant amount of time. If you'd said in August we'd lose our top player at pretty much every position bar QB/RB then not even the biggest homer would guess we'd be 7-2.

No offense B6--but this thread has "jinx" written all over it ;)

I kid...but at the same time I don't.

Man, you called it.

Post of the Year contender right here.

I read it and thought the same thing today. He called it for sure.

Ditto, He even doubled down:

I may be a weirdo, but I stand by my statement from a couple of days ago.

Belichick is the answer. Even though he isn't a player.

Does everyone feel the same way about this still?

2013: PPG with/without Gronk

with Gronk: 36.3ppg
without Gronk: 20.8ppg

Yes, a small sample size. However, this season/2012 AFCCG/2011 SB have made me change my answer from Big Vince to Gronk. The offense is just different without him.

I picked (in this thread) Gronk as the MVP not named Brady. I feel like we are seeing the truth of that now. Wilfork was my #2. The run defense without him has been outright brutal. Solder #3. If he goes down, so does Brady..
