Andre Reed? Henry Ellard? Art Monk? Issac Bruce??? these guys are under-rated??????

that's a who's who list of some of the best WRs to ever play the game....they're rated highly and justifyably so!!!

Heck of an interesting list. I cannot disagree with any of the picks. I think a good case can be made for Andre Reed being #1.

Here's a couple of my own <Homer Alert!>:

Stanley Morgan - NE
Harold Jackson - NE/Phi/LA
Gary Clark - Wash
Drew Hill - Dal
Cliff Branch - Oak

Art Monk ... that guy would catch 3 passes a game and each one of those would devastate the defense...loved watching him.

Troy Brown - I'll skip the superlatives we all have enjoyed and get to the point. I often felt the one bad thing to happen to Troy was becomming the head receiver.

Troy has a rare body for an NFL athlete. A body built to play way longer than most. But when he became the #1 receiver it took it's toll on his smallish body. I believe troy would still be catching 60-80 passes a game if he had remained the #2 or #3 receiver all these years.

Art Monk, Tim Brown and Andre Reed were underated? Geesh.

I'd go with Stanley Morgan, but always like to see Troy Brown on a top 10 list.

McCardell was drafted by the Washington Redskins when Joe Gibbs coached them the first time.

I hardly think Tim Brown is underrated, but by and large it was a good list.

My thoughts exactly. 2 - 9 are good, but Tim Brown? I don't think so.

Who are they?? I've never heard of them.

I guess Sports Illustrated is right.
