Being we are throwing around names of washed up veterans to replace Cassel, I say we go after Marc Wilson. He was a Patriot so he should have no problem learning the play book and he never really got a fair shot the last time he was here.

If you don't know then you didn't live thru the real dark days of the Patriots.

I'd agree Wilson was gawdawful. Of course he wasn't a multiyear starter like Mike Taliaferro either.

Favorite Marc Wilson moment:

Mosi Tatupu forces the fumble on the kickoff and Jim Bowman recovers in the endzone for a 27-20 Pats lead in the divisional playoff vs. LA. Raiders get the ball back and their offense is about to take the field. NBC camera shows a closeup of Marc Wilson's face on the sideline as he's about to try and tie the game. The look can be described in one word: nausea.

Scariest Marc Wilson moment:

Learning that the Pats signed him a few years later.
