Maybe it has something to do with Carolina being the favorite from a small market. Just a guess, but I'll bet neither the Denver or Carolina fan bases will necessarily be flocking to this game.
Too many people are just content/happy to see Tom Brady and the Patriots not having the possibility of winning another one. Whether Carolina wins or Denver wins does not matter as long as New England isn't in it.
Same here I actually live in San Jose de minutes away from the actual stadium. From what I've seen there's more hype on the Warriors than the SuperbowlUnfortunately I live in the bay area so I have been trying to avoid local sports radio.Wouldve been awesome if the pats were here..but alas.
I live in NC, and there's a fair amount of hype here.
If the Panthers were to win, it would be really weird.

All the Super Bowl Brady played on were down the wire classics, not 43-8. Its just not exiting this year.
