Really!? Putting aside who the teams are, it takes an entire day to move a team across the country, packing, flying, unpacking, local travel to the site, hotel hassles, etc. You'd actually elect to do that to your team, taking them away from friends, family, familiar and easy game prep facilities, etc.?
And you'd choose to take a home playoff game away from Pats fans?
And the revenue away from the local businesses and Kraft empire?
And the natural home field advantage, generally assumed to be worth 2.5 points?
And to give that revenue and pleasure and points to another team and its fans?
And to deny the Pats' opponent the difficulty that the travel brings with it?
Regardless of how the Manning and Denver hate shows up in this conversation, this is wrong on so many levels.
And yeah, I'd much rather see Manning miserable today and be done with his face for the year. That, too.
