How much longer does Dean Pees get a pass?

I wonder if we could bring over the Japanese tradition of Seppuku, just for this disaster of an organization....

This organization has no honor, thus an honor suicide would be futile. Instead, death by trading franchises with the Bengals - a truly dishonorable way to go.

I think this guy really needs to start coming under fire/taking some blame.. I feel like he hasnt been a very good coordinator since taking over.. Our defensive backs are always playing 10 yards off the receivers, we get run on, cant tackle, the superbowl debacle.. is this a final season for him then capers/?

LETS LOOK AT THE FACTS (Per ESPN)

This is Pees' third year as our DC. Below is his first two years relative to the rest of the league:

MORE FACTS

Here are Dom Capers' defensive ranks going back to 2002 as either a HC or DC
yds pts
2007 Miami 23 30
2005 houston 31 32
2004 houston 23 16
2003 houston 31 27
2002 houston 16 20

In 2006, before Dom Capers as DC, Miami had the 4th ranked total defense. With him as DC in 2007 they dropped to 23rd.

WOW... I really hope that you are right and he becomes our DC next year!

I'll just touch on these two points:

Our defensive backs are always playing 10 yards off the receivers...

Belichick oversees both the offense and defense. If he has any concerns, the OC or DC will make the necessary changes.

...we can't tackle...
Specific players miss tackles in specific games and you're concerned about Pees? FWIW, no defensive player will earn a roster spot if he can't tackle.

NO we do not need to shake up the coaching staff!
YES we do need to study why the middle is always open...

I think this ame was an aberation. I was going to go with the idea of Capers replacing Pees. But then I remembered that up until this game the pats were allowing an average of 10 pts I think.

And besides Capers was on the sidelines if he had any ideas on how to stop Miami I think there were more than a few ready to listen.
