Geez, it's pretty crazy that Brees is only 32. He's put together a damn impressive career for his age. Heck, Rodgers is 28 and he's only in his 4th full season as a starter. Brees is in double digits.
It's an interesting comparison between the two. Brady entered the NFL one year earlier, but missed the 2008 season. Neither played in their rookie year but both have started since then. They've been very close in career passing yardage for a few years now, moving up side by side in those rankings. They'll likely become the fifth and sixth players in NFL history to pass for over 50,000 yards in their careers.
NFL Career Passing Yards Leaders
The really interesting thing is that the Chargers were so disappointed with Brees after 3 years in the league that they drafted a QB with the #1 overall pick in 2004. He's gone to the Pro Bowl pretty much every year since.

There are 3 active QB's in the top-12.
Only 1 of them plays for an outdoor stadium team.
I never would have guessed that Fran Tarkenton would be No. 4 all time in TD passes.
That speaks volumes about the Chargers..
