Hey everybody, I'm calling on all the season ticket holders, or anyone else who has been to a game in person for some advice on this. As my location implies, I've never been to a live Patriots game as I was born and raised in California. Nor have the people who I'm attending the game with (I'm meeting up with them in NY).

All of that out of the way, I need some advice.

- Parking. As I said briefly before, we're driving there from NY and will be staying in a hotel after the game. From what I've gathered this stadium has atrocious parking problems. I've heard you can walk to the stadium from other lots if you don't mind. Where are these other lots? Will there be signs? If not, some directions would be wonderful. (Keep in mind I don't know the area, so be more specific rather than less)

-Arrival time. We'll be in the area for two nights, so getting to the stadium from our hotel will be about a 30 minute drive, that said what time should we arrive at the parking spot mentioned above to get in, to the seats, ETC? (Granted I want to peruse the pro shop so I'll get there a bit early)

Question:

Where are you staying / coming from?

Can't answer your questions without knowing that first.

As far as parking goes, there are several private lots down Route 1 from the stadium...those are the ones where you will get out the earliest. You will see signs for them and people waving you in, they are about 2 miles off the highway (assuming you are coming from 495, the south entrance) - that's the easiest way to get out of the area quickly. If you are a little more patient, I highly recommend the P10 lot on your left - as many people in this lot tailgate late after the game and we have never had to wait more than 45 minutes to get out (and yes, unfortunately that is GOOD for the complex).

I am not sure what time the lots will open - probably around 3pm, maybe a little bit later - but if you want to enjoy the entire tailgate experience being in the neighborhood is good for around that time. The stadium usually opens 1:45 (I believe) before gametime, so in this case around 6:35. Depending on where you're sitting, make sure you leave 10-20 minutes to get to your seats if you want to see the kickoff.

Enjoy the game, and the entire experience! And, be loud.

We will be traveling south down route 1 to get to the stadium.

If you are coming from New York, you should be coming up 95 in which case you would go from there to 495 north to route 1. That is, if you are driving straight to the game.
