Fun Patriots 5th Quarter Today

BB his usual self although he went on for several minutes about Pats HOF Jon Morris as his wont.

Then surprise. Big Vince to the podium. Man this guy is HUGE. Anyway he's also a great interview, funny and verbose. He'd make a great after dinner speaker. Extols his athletic prowess. Loves busting the chops of the Offense vs the D. Said Gronk was faster than he but he (Vince) could beat Brady. "Oh Tom! Is that you?" in the audience. It was.

Then Brady and his unrequited (we hope ) love object Deion take the podium together. Tom gives his usual BB style uninformative answers and then splits. Deion stays another several minutes answering questions.

The most fun and enjoyable press conf I can remember.

Ya know, I said the same thing. I taped it and watched it again. When my wife came home, she watched it as well and said the same thing too. They should have Vince on more often lol. I love his humor and candor.

no what got him gone was is huge contract. steve burton should do more radio. hes much better at it than he is with tv.

My first job out of college (eons ago), one the partners at this advertising firm I worked at was this woman named Suzanne. Every time her husband would call, I would pick up and this voice would say "May I speak with Suzanne?" and after I would ask who was calling, he would simply say "Bob".

So a few times after I had picked up the phone and heard the same thing, I jokingly told Suzanne that her husband sounded exactly like Bob Lobel! Of course then she said haven't you seen the picture on my desk? And yes, there were the two of them, arm in arm.

My brush with the greatness that is Bob Lobel!
