Dont know what you expect. And how can you judge Chad Scott Reche Caldwell and Hawkins? Hawkins did great last year for us when Harrison went down.

Most of them are 1 year/2 year training camp fodder/JAGS.

And what's wrong with Chad Scott and Reche Caldwell. They are what they are...decent role players.... If they were franchise players, they would be signed to a longer and richer contract.

They were all signed for next to nothing because we re-signed Brady and Seymour to big contracts and there's more FA coming. It's the price we pay for having really good players.

I mean Vrabel, Harrison, and Colvin are the biggest FA BB has signed in his whole tenure here. Dillon doesn't count ... that's a trade. What's your point.

THE CORE OF OUR TEAM IS DRAFTED!!!!!!!!!!

Expectations weren't high at all for most of those guys.

I don't get your argument.

Some of those players got injured (Mitchell, Tebucky, C. Scott), some were forced into starting roles because of injuries (Beisel, Brown, Hawkins), and others were role players (Dwight, Flutie, Caldwell). The rest (Mallard, Levya, Freeman, Edwards, Terrell, Morton, Warfield) were longshots to make the team starting off.

Well, I am not surprised that you count training camp fodder (Victor Leyva) or guys like Caldwell, Jones, Mitchell, and Chad Scott. Its amazing how you can sit and judge everything in hindsight the way you do and act as if BB and Pioli should be able to see the future. That is the attitude you've had with the Branch stuff as well.

Nothing ventured, nothing lost here.

Like the posts before me have already mentioned, how can you judge Reche Caldwell when he hasn't started in a regular season game for us? How can you say Doug Flutie was cold? First drop kick since what, 1263?

Now I am beginning to see why so many people get frustrated with all the doom and gloom posts...

I hear you loud and clear, what a pile of crap. What makes it worse is that Brady is in his prime for only another 3-4 years and this is the list of C- players he is expected to win with. Thank god the Patriots can draft because their veteran FAs are embarrasing. Even if we had a 50% hit rate imagine how good this team would be...

Go Pats, less than 7 days to go.

You can't call a player lost to injury a "miss." That's an unfortunate event.

The board is saying these were low expectation players, although the board expectations seems fairly high for Terrell and some others. We do not know what the Pats FO expectations were.

We have had no Peerless Prices or other big contract flops.
