<< You sir, are a bandwagon fan. Is this the first Patriots game you've ever watched? >>

And you, sir, have been smashed in the head one too many times from falling concrete from the Big Dig.

Faulk has always been a great player.

You won't find a member an this board who doesn't respect the game Kevin brings every week, but a starting RB in this League is not where his skill sets have put him.

What's his record as starting running back then? You must know.

Ok, you've taken enough abuse. Here are some actual reasons why Kevin Faulk is not the starter:

1. He has a fumble problem, and has to have two hands on the ball at all times or he will lose it. This in turn limits is quick-cutting ability in traffic.

2. He cannot get the tough yards. What you saw today was him gashing a defeated Dallas D. Did you see how Kyle Eckel tore through them?

3. He is not just a 3d down back - he is the back in a lot of 3 and 4-wide sets so he plays a lot of snaps. He is really a 12th starter.

4. Laurence Maroney is a stud and Sammy Morris is a very tough runner. When they are healthy they are better runners.

Faulk did play more about 5 years ago and he got the snot beat out of him. He could never be an every down back ... He loves his role and place here ... I'm sure he knows it because he always decided to stay here.
