ESPN 'scouts': Chargers D has changed

If SD changed their tactic prior to the Indy game, I can see that catching Indy off guard. BB on the other hand has all the game tapes since then to analyze what SD has been doing to be successful.
Actually, there are a bunch of blitz packages that we limited to certain points in the season.

Safety blitzes the first 4 weeks, corner blitzes the next 2. Cottrell has done a good job at changing it up leaving limited film on our special packages. If he prepares for the wrong thing anything can happen, but in all likelihood a Belichick coached team will prepare for 95% of things thrown at them.

Oh no, in that case we better not show up.

I have also not noticed that anybody mentioned us having a healthy Kyle Brady who can help out tremendously in beefing up our offensive line if necessary. As other folks have mentioned, blitzes seem to decrease after the blitz hav been burned a couple of times.

So what happens when they use all these creative blitzes and we run for 100 yards in the first half and they are forced to back off?

The flood gates fling wide.......what everyone discounts is the fact we'll get phenomenal push from Koppen and the guards with Williams either out or tender. Either way he isn't effective enough to cause a terrible amount of trouble.
