If Andre wants to play for a SB contender we can name 8 teams more or less and narrow it down to 4.
It's not in the best interest of Texans trading for a future pick with NE because is more than likely that would be over the #25 spot in the draft. Not to mention they are conference rivals.
There are teams in NFC that can be labeled SB contenders and can all of a sudden have a terrible season, like the Falcons last year. Panthers and Saints are also in this mix, although I think the Saints can at least hope for a Wild Card, they are year in year out SB contenders with Drew Brees and their impressive performance in home games, but I doubt they can manage an injury bug like last year with us. I think things can turn around really fast there, not to mention their deficiency in road games.
The Panthers is a team I would say have great chances of not making the playoffs next season. Inconstant QB, lost a lot of weapons, drafted a huge boom or bust receiver, well a lot of question marks. And they play in the NFC. If BOB wants to trade for future picks makes sense. I just don't know Andre will buy, he seems to be a smart guy, I don't know who will make the call, if he has any input on this, I can see him staying in AFC.
After reading the topic in other forums, I think they can make it, it's one of those opportunities in life you act first and think later.
