We have not done well against the Broncos for the past decade or so but for the first time in quite awhile I think Denver almost has become one dimentional this year and its now the pass compared to how dangerous they they have always been on the ground plugging in no-name guys who do well.
I think the last time we faced them Denver has the 'Bell' boys carrying the ball
But this year Denver's running game does not seem to scare me at all,Selvin Young has a 5.7 YPC right now but I don't fear him being a factor in this game and if you slow him down, Denver becomes pass crazy.
On top of that, a guy that has burned us in the past, Brandon Stokely will likely sit out with the remnants of a concussion he suffered in the game against the Jaguars last week.
I think Pees would be wise to send alot of blitzes from the OLBs and Safeties to put pressure on Cutler because I think if you can keep Royal and Marshall fairly well covered and put lots of pressure on Cutler you will beat the Broncos
Pressure in the pocket vs. Cutler will be the key to this game - They cannot afford to give Jay as much time as they gave Phillip last week
The Denver running game does not scare me and it should be shut down fairly easily - Now its time to put pressure on the QB and this game is ours (easier said than done of course)
There is no Tomlinson on the Broncos to force the safeties to play closer up to the line like they were last week and leave the CBs 1 on 1 - That could be the difference between getting pummeled by SD and beating Denver.
BTW: I do believe this still will be a high scoring game
