Does being under supernatural control exonerate Eve of any sin?

Again with the childish threats. They do not work on adults, fool, and they just show how backwards your thinking is and how your religion has dumbed you down.

If you think you **** morals will get you to god then by all means, keep them.

Yes, I'm sure you were there when the heavens and earth were formed... you created the mountains and seas... you made it so physics and geometry and calculus were truths... you can create life.

When you leave your room, say hello to the other dementia ward patients for me. And wipe your mouth. You're drooling again. LOL

This is a very good point. I didn't know that humans and animals could speak to each other. Oldrover, do you have a response to this? Have you spoken to animals?

I didn't read his post on this before. That shows the BS of his argument... he's arguing that Eve was puppeteered by something he doesn't even believe existed.

Who would make that argument? A crazy person. Or a troll. I'll guess the latter. LOL

Regarding the two instances of animals talking in the Bible, sure, I believe God could use an animal to communicate to us. I own a cat... when she meows at me, I know exactly what she wants when she does it. And that's just the cat on her own, communicating with her little pea brain! I'm sure the CREATOR of the cat knows her operating system well enough to accomplish a more advanced version of that. Would it be talking, per se? Or would He affect my hearing such that I could understand her better? Who knows.

If it was all a supernatural entity just controlling the snake, then the snake would not be guilty of doing anything on it's own. Why then did your God punish an innocent snake?

God gave us free will. He also gives his angels free will. Animals are different from humans. They don't have true free will. That said, we do not hold animals 'guilty' or 'not guilty'... just their masters. Dog kills someone? He is not charged with murder... the owner is. Even if the dog is put down, no one thinks the dog committed premeditated murder, unless they were trained to do so byt heir master. This snake's master was the great accuser, Satan. Hold him accountable.

I agree and ask again now that you have shown the logic. Why then did God punish the snake that we both agree was completely innocent?

God said it was just a snake so he punished just a snake for no just reason.

    Right?

No, not for no reason. As I said before, if a dog attacks, he can be judged by men to be unsafe and therefore put to death. For a reason.

Yes but in this case to follow your dog analogy. Satan took it's mouth and made him bite down. The dog never bit but was fully under the masters control and for us to kill that dog would be immoral.

But I will not convince you as you have wasted too many years looking at your religion through their disgusting dogma.

You have forgotten where your myth came from and you have justified your genocidal son murdering prick of a God to the point where you can no longer think straight.

You ignore that the Jews read our elevation in Eden and not our fall and that Christianity reversed their thinking when they usurped their God.

But you don't care about truth.

Oldrover, it might be worth it to you to take some astronomy courses. You would be surprised with how much we know about the universe and how life started on Earth.

Yes, we know that it is finite. We also know that conditions required for life are very narrow. So do tell how astronomy has explained "how life started on earth".

There is a reason why the naturalists came up with the idea of the "multi-verse". They can't make the math work without it.

There's a lot of things we know.
    Astrochemists Explore Origins of Life

Over the next 25 years with the advent of stem cell research we will probably be able to create a baby without conception. We can already clone animals. You need to broaden your mind and educate yourself. Just because we don't know the exact answer, doesn't mean we have to say a book where donkeys and snakes talk to people as the truth.

I don't see any proof of anything in that article.

Creating a baby without conception has already been done. A human embryo was cloned in 2008. It doesn't explain where DNA came from in the first place. DNA is information. Information does not arise from random noise.

You can't have it both ways. You can't say that people of faith are avoiding the facts and then back it up with your own fantasies, sorry. I am already more educated on this topic than you obviously are. You are entitled to your beliefs, but they are still just that: beliefs.

SalemPats, how did the universe start, then, according to your astronomers? Where did laws of physics come from? How could an explosion create something?

You can't answer those, in any coherent fashion. You may not LIKE my answer, but my answer would explain everything. Yours explains nothing. In fact, you create more questions.

If Satan made the dog bite, how could the dog never have bit?

Of course it would be moral to put the dog down, as in my argument above. The dog would represent a danger to other people, as would the snake. However, God only set new parameters for the snake's existence. He did NOT kill. Your question should be, "Why did God spare the snake's life? How could God show mercy to a snake?"

You have gone into moral and intellectual dissonance mode and do not want to learn. You wish to win which says you will learn nothing or know you are bested and think you can win by wearing me out.

I am done here as lurkers will see the truth of my statement.

That's too bad. I enjoyed our back and forth. While I think you are deluded, as of course you see me, I liked your questions. They made me think and dig into my faith, even test it. And if faith can't stand a test, it is not worthy of the effort. Have a good night.

    Testing is good.

You ignored facts to test yours and all will see your lie.
