    I believe they did. I said all along never to expect a #1 for him, I always mentioned top of R2 and that's what we got. I was not surprised at all. The only real surprise was the inclusion of Vrabel in the deal and we'll never know if this was meant to benefit the Pats or KC given the CAP hit that Vrabel had?

    BB would never mention that publicly to anyone, because he has that much respect for Vrabel, but I truly believe that BB said look Scott, I'll give you Cassel for the 34, but you'll need to take Vrabes off our books.

    Probably not, but this is a year where there are forty players of

    first round quality. The Patriots will get a good football player

    with the 34th pick.
