Says who? Never saw that one.
Restructure/extend whatever you chose to use. They should've cut him long ago for his "gang ties"

I never said I wanted them to sign him to " a huge contract". As far as the ties to the crips...I know just as much as you, which is NOTHING. He was never charged, or arrested in his NFL tenure for anything.
Hernandez situation should NEVER play a role in acquiring talent, as long as the front office does their due diligence on the player in question, and has the facts. Which neither you, nor I have at this minute.
so I take it you want this guy bad...enough so that these smoke signals should be ignored and the Patriots should jump in with both feet? So news outlets making reports of these ties mean nothing to you? he's a WR...there's plenty of WR's the Pats can look at without THIS guy's baggage...oh wait...he doesn't have any baggage....
Star Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson cut after alleged ties to Crips street gang revealed | Mail Online
"Snoop Dogg, a hip hop artist long-known to make references to the Crips in his music, released a song on Jaccpot with Jackson in a music video flashing hand signals similar to the gang signs flashed by the Rolling 60’s neighborhood Crips, a gang expert told Larry Brown Sports.
Jackson also flashed the same ‘contorted c’ hand signal at the Washington Redskins’ DeAngelo Hall after making a big catch during a game early last season – on national television.
‘You don't want to see anybody throwing up gang signs like he did in the Redskins game last year,’ an LAPD gang expert told the Star-Ledger.
yeah...nothing to see here...sign him up to multiple years...what could possibly go wrong????
I'm not buying D-Jax is guilty of anything until I see him charged at the very least.
Jesus! How do you make it through your days, with so much pessimism?
This IS America...innocent until proven guilty, or at the very least charged.

Like I said previously. I trust BB decision on the matter. Regardless what it is.
well then, I'm coming up there to Foxboro and you and I are gonna go down to Sheriff Hodgson's office and demand Ahern be released and put back on the NEP roster! This is America, d%#*!@t, and I'm optimistic he's INNOCENT!
seriously, though...I'm trolling a bit in this thread so I apologize, but honestly, seeing what has come out in the media since he's been released leads you to think that there's even been a whisp of interest in him by the Pats? Somehow, I don't see Krafty Bob smiling like Jackson's grand dad as he inks a big contract with the Pats. In fact, I don't see Jackson even wanting to come here. If I had to make a best guess, I'd pick a west coast team.
He is only telling you the truth. Every time a player the masses have heard of is available, we go through this ' the Patriots should sign the beast!!!!!" crap.
Let's ignore the gang signs thrown up on national TV. Hell, let's ignore the pictures posted in the comment you call 'pessimism'. Just cover your ears and type up that contract. Super Bowl, here we come.
Haha! I agree. D-Jax isn't coming here.
It was a pipe dream of mine before FA started, and he was rumored to be on the block (before all this gang bs).
I'd still love to see him in a Pats uni, but even if they are interested I'm pretty sure they'll be outbid.
It just seemed as if D-Jax was being discriminated against in this thread which I really don't agree with. That's the only reason I even responded to the thread in the first place.
You're too smart a poster to take the gang signs thing seriously.
Sometimes I wonder if these guys are really tied to gangs, or if this is just part of the fad/culture a bit just as well.
I mean--I'm not disputing the fact that this certainly does look like the contorted "C" sign, but I think we've seen this plenty of times before too.
I'm not condoning the potential signing of Jackson. That's obviously going to be left up to BB, and after the prisoner saga, I'm highly doubting they'll be risking much money with a player like Jackson.
I'm just saying that I don't know if I fully believe that he's involved in a gang just yet.
The man who knows the guy better than anyone Andy Reid, is in talks with his agent to bring him to KC.
That speaks volumes, IMO.

you can listen to some punk brag about raping women, killing people indiscriminately, robbing and assaulting innocent people on the street, dealing every kind of heavy narcotic, soul murdering illegal drug, impregnating as many women as a dog on the street running wild and then switch to Pink Floyd without missing a beat?
you are a genius....just not on this planet

I don't think he's in a gang but that's not the point. He's glamorized the thug gang life. Has gang friend murderers he hangs out with. Celebrates their lifestyle with his rap recording co.
Why would you want vermin like that on your team and pay him 8m to boot? Utter garbage. Plus his me first attitude. Wanting a new contract when he's 2 years into the old? Right after they lost in the playoffs. 10 million salary wasn't good enough next year? Guess he spends a lot on his "recording studio". Good to know where his priorities lie.
