Former Husker Alfonzo Dennard Arrested for DUI
breaking news on weei. sorry no link. possible dui. he refused a drug test. here we go again.
He'll be cut before 4:00 p.m.
Later dennard. Nice job throwing away your career.
Yep. I was thinking the exact same thing.
You could be right.
Re: dennard arrested
He may not make it until sunset - make that 10:00 am.
I sure hope the Patriots and the NFLPA are calling every Patriots player today to tell them there is zero tolerance for any missteps and if they have a drink to call the NFLPA's Safe Ride number on the back of their union cards.
A look at NFL's safe ride and rookie programs
Yeah, I think that about covers it.
I doubt he is cut, but seriously? After everything the Patriots have been through, Dennard can't get somebody to drive him around? What a bunch of malarky!
Nevermind the fact that he is on PROBATION already. Some people are so dumb and literally never learn. I guess he felt he hadn't lost enough already. My God, I cannot believe this!
is this enough ( along with his arrest in college) for Goodell to say "you're suspended"
from the football side of things, this means arrington has to play outside CB again. smh ... smh
Ras-I Dowling has an opportunity.
hes going to go right to jail and start serving the three months he got for assaulting the cop. hes going to miss camp for sure. what a off season from hell.
Can't wait for the "don't jump to conclusions without the facts" crowd to have a go at this one. First line of defense will naturally be "blame the cops", though that didn't work out so well in his Nebraska trial. Once that tactic fails, the usual follow up rebuttal will include "blame the media."
I suppose BB can ship him off to Denver so he can get a group rate on detox.
shh. he might hear you get distracted and hurt himself.
After all the arrests this offseason, I wouldn't be surprised if Goodell starts dropping the hammer on these guys. If he is suspended, then he gets what he deserves. He's on probation and now he does this? Dumb move, IMO. After all the crap with Hernandez, I HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE for this stuff right now. This is the risk of bringing players with issues on to the team. I don't want to hear anymore whining from people when the Pats go back to their old ways, because that is EXACTLY what they might do.
This will be a tough one for Bobby Kraft to say he was duped here.
