Am I wrong? If I'm wrong, this thread is off base.

A guy who lied to screw the Patriots. Straight out lied. He's a liar.

And he's making review calls.

But I may be wrong on that.

James White's toe touched, not his heel. That much was seen. So they overturned it.

Never mind that the refs didn't call PI on the guy pushing White out of bounds.

What qualification does he have to do so?

As a former official, it is only right that Blandino---never mind.

I realize this is a terrible way to hire for the job, but even with his lying aside...

Would you rather the head of NFL officiating look like

?

Hmmm..an actual bona fide referee with years of experience in the NFL or...a New York city wannabe NFL bigshot that publicly caters to billionaire "Peter Pan Complex" owners and their lust for money and "glory hole!"?
Gee...wonder what UberFührer Reichsmarshal Goodellungen would choose? Oh wait..."for the good of the game!" he already has.

What qualification does he have to do so?

Qualifications: (a) inability for independent though, (b) business major, (c) no trace of an underlying system of values, (d) thrives in a sleazy environment, (3) ability to fluently speak and communicate 'you bet Rog', (e) experience in sales -- specifically the ability to sell dishonesty as the unassailable truth.
Disclaimer: candidates fluent in the interpretation and application of the NFL rule book need not apply.
