I get a strong sense of deja vu of last year's contest in Minnesota leading up to the Dallas game, if not in the specifics (i.e. Minnesota's vaunted run derfense in 2006) then at least in generalities.

Visiting at a supposedly strong NFC team, but not factoring in the overall weakness of the NFC... lot's of hype...

I really think we're going to go in there Sunday and smoke 'em, jump out to a big lead and never look back, final score something like 35-7.

Anyone remember going into San Diego late in '96?

I understand what your talking about, but Dallas is far better than Minnesota. Romo is better than Brad Johnson and the Cowboys have a better offense then the '06 Vikings. The Pats have to account for Owens, Witten, Barber and now Crayton. Last year's Vikings team literally had no threats on offense. However, I think the Pats will take this game very seriously and smoke the Cowboys with their passing game. Roy Williams can't cover squat, Moss has owned Newman in recent meetings, Henry might not play and their nickel and dime packages won't be able to cover Watson and Welker. The Pats are just a far better team from top to bottom.

The 2007 Patriots is also a better team than the 2006 version. The game on Sunday will be a walk for the Pats.

Well, Brad Johnson IS Romo's back up:rolleyes:

Seriously, I was surprised by all the "respect" Minnesota was getting last year. Their run D was good, but Brad Johnson?? Dallas is leaps and bounds better than the Vikes of last year.
