I don't care to be disrespected personally. Talk all the trash about my team you want, but that guy was personally insulting to me. Sue me.
As for football knowledge, I've been a student of the game for 25 years and played to fairly good level for 8. I am confident I have as much football knowledge as anyone here.
Evidently that fact that I feel the Patriots mediocre this year and the Bears are better qualifies, in your world, as ignorance, and that's understandable.
What is ignorance is your garbage trash tralking without anything to back it up.
As for your "knowledge" and claims to be a student of the game for 25 years, you haven't shown anything of the sort. You've shown yourself to be an arrogant pissant who knows nothing about football.
Now, in regards to ther Patriots, why don't you back up your opinion with some facts instead of spewing ignorance. Why do you feel that the Patriots are mediocre this year? What is it that makes you think the Bears are better?
I'll tell you why I feel the Bears are NOT as good as the Patriots. Grossman, for all his experience, shows he can still get flustered very easily and he is hard pressed to win it with his arm should the running game get stopped. He tends to ignore receivers and gets horseblinders looking for specific receivers.
What has carried the Bears is their ability to capitalize on the mistakes of other teams. Such as Hester's run back on the short field goal. It reminded me of Nathan Vasher's run back not to long ago. I watched the Bears/Arizona game and the reason the Bears won was because Arizona gave them the game.
I think that the Bears running game can be shut down. It will be tough, but it can be done.
Where the Bears are good is on their special teams. And the Patriots will have to be particularly aware of Hester's explosiveness.
The Bears have a great defense. There is no doubt about that. But the Patriots have a great defense also, being rated right behind the Bears.
The only team that the Bears have beaten that had a winning record is the Giants. The Patriots haven't beaten one, but then, they've only played 2.
This will be a true test for BOTH teams. My money is on the experience of the Patriots and their history under Brady of over-coming adversity and playing extremely after Thanksgiving.
