As I said in the thread you posted on Thanksgiving, you don't have to be here. Since you obviously don't like it here, why don't you leave.

Now, in regards to ther Patriots, why don't you back up your opinion with some facts instead of spewing ignorance. Why do you feel that the Patriots are mediocre this year? What is it that makes you think the Bears are better?

I'll tell you why I feel the Bears are NOT as good as the Patriots. Grossman, for all his experience, shows he can still get flustered very easily and he is hard pressed to win it with his arm should the running game get stopped. He tends to ignore receivers and gets horseblinders looking for specific receivers.

What has carried the Bears is their ability to capitalize on the mistakes of other teams. Such as Hester's run back on the short field goal. It reminded me of Nathan Vasher's run back not to long ago. I watched the Bears/Arizona game and the reason the Bears won was because Arizona gave them the game.

I think that the Bears running game can be shut down. It will be tough, but it can be done.

Where the Bears are good is on their special teams. And the Patriots will have to be particularly aware of Hester's explosiveness.

The Bears have a great defense. There is no doubt about that. But the Patriots have a great defense also, being rated right behind the Bears.

The only team that the Bears have beaten that had a winning record is the Giants. The Patriots haven't beaten one, but then, they've only played 2.

This will be a true test for BOTH teams. My money is on the experience of the Patriots and their history under Brady of over-coming adversity and playing extremely after Thanksgiving.

This whole thing about Grossman being easily flustered is media soundbyte, which everyone parrots. Have you seen every Bears game this year? Did you see him down 10 points at the Giants, stay level headed, not force things and come out and put up major production and smoke NYG?

Did you see the next game where the production wasn't there this time, but again, instead of trying to force it (as he was earlier this year) he just played mistake free football and we put the numbers up on the deck and ground out a shutout?

Rex has only play one full season of football ,and he's 13-4 to this point. He was making rookie type mistakes and forcing things, but recently it looks as if the coaches have done a good job with him, and he's quit doing it.

But everyone would rather just parrot the media and keep talking about him getting flustered, and that's cool. After he picks apart your average defense we'll talk then.

We on the same team Bearmick but one of the reasons Rex played better against the Giants at the end of the 2nd and in the 2nd half is because their D is really beat up and lacking backups in a lot of spots. They are so tired and then their best corner left the game. I mean Grossman did play better but against a tired and hurt D. So that isn't the greatest example. Grossman is like the Pat's running game, it can be great or very poor. It should be a good game my man. Holla @ me

And you were doing so well, too. Obviously, your knowledge of the Pats defense is lacking. Its ok, I'll clarify things for you. The Pats D is second only to the Bears.

As for your points about Grossman, true he is more patient with the ball. But he still stares down receivers, and he still has trouble reading defenses. The Pats D is by far the most sophisticated and confusing D he will have seen so far in his career. It wont be easy for him. On the other side of the ball, look for Brady and Co. to duplicate the plan that they had against the Bengals. True the Bears are much better on D than Cincy, but they depend on turnovers to generate far too many of their points. So look for a balanced attack, featuring the run and intermediate middle passing, where the Bears show vulnerability. And look for the Pats to protect the football at all costs.

As a Bears fan, this guy makes me sick. Unfortunately he's not the only idiot who happens to like the Bears. But he is NOT TYPICAL...please remember that most all of the respectful mature fans don't troll other people's boards and do this crap.

This happens on the Bears boards every week. Fortunately only Miami has been able to return and talk more smack. We have noticed that there has been very little NE trolls being dumb on our side however. For that I thank you all.

As for your game with the Bears, there's one thing you have to do and that's pressure the QB. Miami got after Grossman ALL game and he beat himself in the process. When pressured, his mechanics go out the window and his decision making ability completely goes down the drain. Belichick is famous for creating good schemes to get after the quarterback and if the Pats want to compete, they will have to do that. The Pats also have to avoid making mistakes themselves. The Dolphins didn't allow the Bears defense to win the game and that's something you must control. It should be a good game, but I still like the Bears.
