I have a question which is totally out of curiosity (believe me, I do not want this scenario to pass):
Suppose Brady loses the court case and appeals. Suppose he does not get the injunction so he misses 4 games. Then suppose he wins on appeal.
The Patriots would be the ones who have to pay Brady, wouldn't they? It just seems to me to be pretty darn unfair that the Patriots would have to pay ~$2 million for a guy they wanted to use but were forbidden to.
I have to admit I honestly don't know how money matters play out when players are suspended and also if those suspensions are revoked.
