Congratulations to @irishfanatic, who won this year's season contest edging out both @borg and @Tunescribe by just one game with a record of 177-94

I'll be setting up and launching the playoff version of this shortly. Wild Card round will be the same as normal, while we'll start getting into predict the score situations in the Divisional and Championship as we've always done. You'll see the alert in a bit as soon as I get caught up here.

I found that the season was won in the beginning of the season. The first few weeks are the toughest to pick. Get a lead and it gets tougher to fit others to catch you.

My fatal mistake was defying better judgment picking the damn Jete twice in the last two weeks. I hate them even more now and didn't believe that was possible.

Thanks Tunes....we were neck and neck for many weeks. To make you feel worse I picked against Jete last two weeks lol. It was a good battle.

Did you pick Tampa Bay or Atlanta? I'll bet you picked Tampa, right? I picked Atlanta as an "upset special" and thought that could get me at least tied with you again.

I actually felt OK picking the Jete vs. Miami, considering Thompson at QB for the Dolphins vs. the Jete defense and figuring Flacco could get at least ONE freaking touchdown, which of course he didn't. SMH

I picked Tampa but my instinct was Atlanta given the circumstances of the game. Always go with your gut and I did not because of pick percentages by contestants.

I feel like you gotta take some of those longshots to win. Just picking favorites won't cut it. Factor in decent teams losing a couple games in a row (due for a bounce back game), coaching changes, back to back road games, etc.

Well done to irishfanatic,,,Congratulations brother. I tried hard to catch you ,,and blew my chances in trying by picking 4 lousy underdogs in week 16 !!! Still great job and many thanks to Ian for making this so much fun this Season. Better luck to all next year,,,but this was my best finish and not bad for someone from Bahrain ,,,,next year I may be the dark horse ,,,warning you all from now .
