Pardon my ignorance on football related matter but I feel that this offense is so different than our previous offense. When we played them earlier this year, we are still adjusting to live after Moss. This type of offense is similar to the one we use to employ prior to 07. I feel this type of offense will match fairly well against the ravens' d. Their d is similar to the Jets' d.

You actually have points here and I was thinking the same thing earlier when reading this thread. As a matter of fact, I think that was Deion's first game back was it not? But anyways, their defense is similar to Jets defense with a worse secondary.

Even though Ravens would not be my first choice to play in post-season, i thin we beat them much more comfortably with this new offense and its revitalization.

The team is still extremely talented, and it's the 'same' crappy start to a season (2-5), followed by 'same' winning streak (4-1).

I'd rather follow up the embarrassment of the Jets by officially ending their Super Bowl dreams in the playoffs. But I'd play either team. We beat Baltimore even when Brady was still trying to get used to playing without Moss. If we play them again, the way Brady and the defense are playing now, I don't doubt that we'll take them out.

Why are there Patriots fans who prefer to dodge a challenge (Baltimore's defense) as opposed to taking it on head on? You embrace challenges, not avoid them. Brady isn't a coward, nor are his teammates or his head coach and coaching staff.

Whatever. If I'm New England, I stand my ground should their opponent be Baltimore at some point during the playoffs this season. The game will be at Foxborough.

If not, Brady won't be retiring for some years. Baltimore will appear on the regular season schedule again, whenever that is. We will see then... Don't worry, Suggs. You're young (twenty-eight), you can wait that long.
