Reminder: He went 10 straight games to end the season without allowing more than 50 yards in a game. He does not suck.

(But yes, a lot of that was in the slot)

I don't think BB traded a 4th for a rent a corner, only to come back in the off-season and revert to the same group that wasn't good enough in his own eyes (hence the rent a corner) when he has 30mill to spend.

Patience.

We needed a slot (nickel) back. We signed a good one who knows our system.

Ughh.

I guess he's a decent slot guy. We need cornerbacks, real cornerbacks.

To be fair, he is a decent nickel, and nobody wants him matched up against top WR's less than BB. It's just how things ended up after the trainer's table got crowded.

It's not going to be a lot of money, and somebody has to fill that role.

I wanted Talib + another corner so Dennard could move to the slot, but if it's Talib + Dennard I am OK with that, just don't want Arrington having to play outside.

Perhaps the most under the radar move so far this free agency by the FO.

Arrington while limited in legit outside CB ability is an above average slot corner and good special teamer. He should be no higher than 4th on the depth chart this coming season as a depth nickel and dime player. Hopefully his days of playing on the outside are done.

hopefully he didn't sign for too much money. he was really good in the slot. and he'll be covering welker when they visit so at least hes had experience.

now all we have to do is get talib and grimes. im calling it right now! that we get talib and grimes. grimes is coming off injury hell probably settle for a 1 yr prove it contract and you know who loves to give those kind of contracts!!!!:singing::rocker:

only gave up 0.71 yards/cover snap when he played in the slot. he's an excellent slot guy, and a nice special teamer. Problems arise when he is asked to cover a #1 or #2 WR, though.
