It's easy, and only takes a few moments. How about we wait a couple of years before determining something that happened on draft day "terrible". Watkins might end up the best WR in the game and a shoe-in for the HOF.
Can Mark Sanchez be far behind?
It's not the result I'm critical of, it's the basic approach to the draft: #9 overall pick + a first and fourth for a WR in a draft that's overflowing with WR talent. That's really bad use of resources, IMO.
Sanchez is a free agent....We got a full offseason to worry (?) about what Rex can do with the Bills. It will be an interesting offseason to watch.. curious what their plan at QB is..
I've seen what Ryan could do with a top defense in the past. It's moronic for people to dismiss that as if it doesn't matter. Brady's not getting any younger, and I'd rather not have one of the guy's who's been successful at putting him on the turf planning against him twice a year, especially if they retain Schwartz, as expected.
Because with or without Rex the Bills defense was already really good. I'd argue it was the best in the league by the end of the year.
Adding Rex doesn't change much. The Bills already had a top DC in Schwartz who was doing great things. They however have one of the worst offenses in the league. Adding a coach who has proven time and time again he is inept on offense and completely one dimensional as a coach is dumb.
Just plain dumb. Bills hired the guy for the headlines rather than making an actual football decision.
Can Mark Sanchez be far behind?
No. He's not that good a coach and Buffalo beat us only because we rested guys.Since Buff beat us once what is the chance if Josh leaves that Bill calls Marone to be a offensive coach?
Bob, I think you and DI both are taking Rex's perceived defensive skills too far. Even if you are correct in your assessment of them, there is a lot more to being a HC than just defensive acumen. Its about leadership, accountability staff building, roster building, creating a system, and other management skills that Rex never showed in his 6 years with the Jets.Rex is the last guy I wanted to see take control of that talented Bills defense. Hopefully Revis doesn't follow him there. If so, Buffalo might not even need to field a QB to win most games.
Slim and none and Slim's in a country band inTexas...Since Buff beat us once what is the chance if Josh leaves that Bill calls Marone to be a offensive coach?
Bills expected to hire former 49ers OC Greg Roman as new OC to go along with Rex Ryan, per sources. The two worked together in Baltimore.
he has no QB...will be just like the jets
