Details of Brunell's restructuring were not yet available, but the new deal is believed to have a salary-cap charge that would have been about $6.6 million-$6.7 million under his old deal. The Redskins will use the savings of more than $3 million to sign at least one high profile veteran, probably Buffalo middle linebacker London Fletcher-Baker, when the NFL free agency period commences at 12:01 a.m. (ET) on Friday.
