Geez, the list of lies presented by Allen in the section titled The Wells Report sure doesn't help your opinion elsewhere about The Wells Report does it @letekro?This ridiculously over-inclusive list weakens the significance of the few, but extremely damaging lies the NFL actually did tell:
1. Mortensen Leak
2. Giardi Letter
3. "No sting"
4. "Independent"
5. Mischaracterization of Brady appeal testimony re calls to jaz.
The first one is really the mother of them all. And, it was knowing, bald-faced, and malicious. For months, everyone thought the balls were at a psi that could not be explained by physics. Just like people dont remember the Herald retraction of the Walsh story, they wont remember how miniscule the change in PSI really was.

I'm hopeful people continue to build cases against the NFL. At some point, the FBI and other organizations won't be able to ignore these corrupt bastards any longer.
It's interesting that you continue pressing this line of thinking despite the fact that almost everybody who has interacted with you on the subject shares an agreement that The Wells Report was a hatchet job and his credibility and impartiality will continue to be questioned.But...they aren't lies. Calling them such does not make them such.

I like you as you offer many thought provoking opinions but you're dead wrong on this subject.
You can continue repeating this line and you can continue insulting the intelligence of multiple members on this board but when several posters of note share the same opinion, one which diverges from yours, even a dullard understands there's probably one person who needs to reassess their opinion. You and the posters you refer to would decry every piece of persuasive writing written ever full of "lies, damn lies." Lawyers and all other kinds of writers supporting a position shade the facts their way. Saying that the PSI was 10.1 when it was really 10.9 is a f-ing lie. The stuff youre talking about, im sorry, its just not. You and your retinue are obviously not familiar with this type of writing.

You're wrong on The Wells Report. You've been wrong from the beginning and you'll continue being wrong in the future unless you simply admit you made a mistake, you've updated your opinion, and moved on.
You're sounding very NFL right now @letekro. Doubling down on a poor position still means you hold a poor position.
Nobody believed The Wells Report would ever be objective, independent, or objective and independent. Ted Wells established this when he sentenced Richie Incognito to NFL purgatory for little more than lockerroom banter. No, your argument has been Wells maintained his credibility because The Wells Report was heavily edited by Pash. The argument against your position (and this is why your opinion has been discredited) is Pash edited The Wells Report so that makes Wells fine, is not fine because Wells authored a crap report that Pash edited to make even more embarrassing. You mean, I've been right on the Wells Report from the beginning? Before it was even issued i tried my best to disabuse Rob90210 and others of the notion that this report would be in any way independent and objective. You can go back and check me on that.
But...they aren't lies. Calling them such does not make them such.
*ROFLMAO* The fact that you continue to claim that the Wells Report contains no lies despite the fact it's been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it does shows that you are mentally deficient.
The fact that the NFL claimed that McNally left the locker-room secretly is a lie. He walked out from the back of the locker-room past all the officials and past numerous people from the Commissioner's office and past NFL Security. How is that "leaving the locker-room secretly"? Did he borrow Harry Potter's Cloak of Invisibility?
How about the pictures? That is blatantly lying. Showing the gauges measured differently is lying..
Saying that the Patriots footballs weren't wet at half-time is lying.
Or how about the fact that the Wells Report claimed that the Patriots refused to allow McNally to be made available for a 5th time. In reality, they said that they'd do it via a phone interview. Something the league refused.
So, there are 4 lies RIGHT THERE. So please stop already with your BS claims that the Wells Report didn't lie. It DID. It was filled with them..
I cant find in the report where it says McNally left the locker room secretly. Are you saying that the officials are lying about not noticing him leave? Or are you saying that they told Wells that they did notice McNally leave but Wells is lying?
I also cant find where it says the Patriots balls werent wet.
The patriots wouldnt produce Mcnally for another interview with Wells. According to the Patriots, they offered something "other than an in person interview." I have no idea what that was. There was a report that Mcnally wanted to do a phone interview. Its not clear whether the Patriots wouldve allowed that.
How is the picture of the needles a lie? There are two pictures that show clearly that one is twice as long as the other. The captions say one of them is "noticeably" longer and that both are "slightly bent." These are true statements. there is no argument made that the needles could have been mistaken (because one is "noticeably" longer). The argument for the nonlogo gauge being used relates to the unlikelihood of the logo gauge and the patriots and colts gauges all being off by exactly the same amount.
