I doubt they're milking it.
They're probably just giving it time to heal. They've got two weeks. And Brady is the best QB in the NFL.. you think he needs every practice to be ready for a Superbowl?
I don't think this is a huge deal but I don't think that it' a lie or that they're milking it, he just probably would benefit from therapy more than practice at this point seeing as though he is the best. But yes, of course he needs to practice. Football isn't like Basketball. You can't just be a superstar like AI and show up and just play. It's about repetition, getting new plays right and getting anyone on the same page and it's just as important for Brady to prepare that way as it is for Eli Manning. I don't think that BB, as much of a gamesman he is, would sacrifice this preparation time for some kind of prank.
And I don't see what advantage that would give them. Does anyone think that Coughlin is going to prepare his team any differently and assume Brady either isn'tgoing to play or is going to be ineffective? I don't.
