He's a Federal Judge. He's been a Federal Judge for over 16 years. He can say whatever he wants in his Courtroom and he can do just about anything legal he wants from the Bench.Berman already said he could vacate just on the NFL refusing to let Pash be a witness so IMO he showed his hand and he can't rule anything but.
Body language! yay.Curran on WEEI: says Brady was a lot more upbeat in the courtroom today after they left the robing room (did not have the scowl he had in previous meetings).

I can't remember if it was "A Few Good Men" or another court drama, but I keep thinking of the scene when the lawyer trotted in two pilots who were never going to testify, but were threatening all the same.

I will root against the #Patriots every game they ever play. But fair is fair. I hope Brady's suspension gets overturned.
Or the discipline for the Jets coach in 2008. That would be Eric......Eric ...If Feely is somehow involved today with anything positive for Brady, what that will do to Jets fans will be very nice...

Curran on WEEI: He thinks it's better than 50/50 the NFL wins based on article 46 (suspension upheld). He's not a lawyer though.
If he is willing to rule this early instead of closer to sept4 when he said in the past to not hold him to the date, I dont know what it means. Maybe he is just ready to get it over with or maybe he wants enough time befor sept4 for an injuction filing to happen if he is ruling against NFLPA.He's a Federal Judge. I don't get this at all. The NFL has violated the CBA multiples times that should out weigh that. Article 46 didn't work in the Ray Rice case right?Curran on WEEI: He thinks it's better than 50/50 the NFL wins based on article 46 (suspension upheld). He's not a lawyer though.
I think it's the safe way to go for prognosticators. They say "Brady's side did the best it could have hoped for given the circumstances, and it's probably a coin flip, but my inclination is the NFL will prevail."I don't get this at all. Until I hear otherwise, I think that's extremely good news. Brady wouldn't have been able to hide his discontent otherwise.Body language! yay.
